How to know if a girl likes you?

Knowing whether a woman is attracted to you BEFORE you make your big move on her can be helpful.

The problem is that it can be pretty close to impossible to sense whether a girl likes you. To make matters worse there is a TON of bad advice out there on the subject.

Some "experts" say that if a woman likes you her pupils will dilate when she looks at you. Others suggest that she will twirl her hair and bite her lip... or she might playfully remove her shoes. Oh, and if she's REALLY interested she will blush and her heart rate will speed up.
What the...? Dilating pupils? Heart rates?

COME ON !!! You shouldn't have to take a woman's pulse to figure out if she's attracted to you. Those types of signals are so vague and ambiguous... they could be occurring for any number of totally unrelated reasons.

What you need is something that will give you a concrete answer and something that you can use in ANY situation with ANY girl.

I've got your solution... Proxemics.

The term "Proxemics" was coined by researcher E.T. Hall when he investigated man's use of personal space. Basically, it's studying how people interact with other people in close proximity to each other (such as on an elevator).

What on earth does this have to do with detecting interest?

Well, what E.T. found was that individuals subconsciously perceive a distance that is appropriate for different relationships; they also establish a comfortable distance for personal interaction and nonverbally define this as their personal space.

This is where it gets interesting-- if a woman likes you she will let you into her more intimate personal space. But, if she doesn't like you she won't... she will make an effort to keep you further away-- OUT of her close personal space reserved for people whom she respects, trusts, and/or admires.

This is how it happens-- it is PROVEN.

It makes sense... if a woman likes you then she will want you to be closer whereas the opposite is, of course, also true. The more she likes you the less of a boundary she will place on you.

When you are talking to a woman the space between both of you is where the two of you are comfortable. If you move in a little closer to her she will either be fine with it and allow it or she will get uncomfortable and move back to reestablish a more comfortable distance.

I'll make it simple for you... if she stays she's interested. If she moves back... you still have some work to do because she's NOT interested yet.

Murphy's law

1. If u think a girl is beautiful, she'll always have a boyfriend to confirm that

2. the nicer she is...the quicker u will be dumped!!!!!

3. The more the makeup, worse the looks...

4. "99% of the girls in this world are beautiful. Remaining 1% would always be in your company."... ......... .....100% true

5. The guy standing next to a beautiful girl can never be her brother.

6. If by any chance the girl you like , likes you too, she will let you know in about 10 years from now ,when you are committed..

7. The more you ignore a girl, the more she'll want to be friends with you.

8. Theory of relativity.. ....
The more u run towards a her....the more she goes away from u...

9. Rule 1: Even if you got her out alone... just when you are about to let her know about your feelings...she will spot a long lost friend( I guess from Kumbh ka Mela)

Corollary to rule 1: The more desperate you are to tell your feelings to a girl on a private chat, the more probability the long lost friend she discovered is a handsome superman, who beats you in everything 9:1

Axiom 1: The more dedicated you are to the girl, the longer it takes before things work out, but ultimately it will (some smile for the guys)

10. the day the girl you really like comes and speaks to you will be the day when-

1. You are dressed badly
2. You forgot to brush your teeth for the first time in your life
3.Have a bad hair day

11. all the good girls are either nuns or married .the rest go around with u and ruin ur money, health and leave u a total wreck.

12. the more seriously u like a girl...the more seriously her dad will hate u

13. the love you shower a girl with is directly proportional to the number of bullets her dad will be showering at you

Why You Shouldn’t Take the Next Step with Your Best Friend

We have all had one time or another where we have had a crush on a friend or even a best friend. If you are caught up in the crush and are enjoying the flirting and your friend doesn’t seem to mind, then that is fine. If it is the feel of the chase you love then you might need to mature a bit more in the relationship and love department before you attempt to make a move on your closest friend. This type of situation may lead to massive disappointment for both of you and injure what you have. If you are thinking of disclosing your hearts desire to your best friend and they have never shown you any love signs then you might want to think again. If you are lucky and you know that your best friend feels the same way then this might be an option for you to try, but if there is no reciprocation, flirtation or feelings, then your heart might be in for a let down. Love is such a precious feeling and has to be treasured and respected. It is good to truly sit down and think about why you want to take things further. Ask yourself these questions. Would they be a suitable match for me? Is there a future for us? Am I attracted to my best friend sexually? What are my real reasons? Am I afraid to be alone?

Sometimes it is better to keep a best friend a friend and stay that way. When you cross the line with your best friend, your friendship will be changed forever. Even if you can put what happened or what was said behind you, one of you may end up broken hearted because these feelings brought up were not acknowledged in the end. This can lead to resentment and jealousy in the future and destroy a friendship. Because two friends hang out so much together, the one that is in love or has an attraction begins to see themselves as a couple. This can end up becoming a distorted view and can result in so many painful feelings when the feelings are not returned. Unrequited love is a hard situation to go through and can take a long time to heal from. This is why in some friendships it is best to reconsider before taking the friendship to a new level.

Many people think how wonderful it will be to begin a new love relationship with their best friend. They are around all the time, they trust you, you trust them, their cute enough, they are a good friend…..there is no reason not to! But there is something missing though and that is the level of love and passion that happens and sparks between two people when they fall in love. Make sure you really think this one over before making any sudden moves because your choice can result in three different ways. You either are best friends for life, broken hearted, or for the lucky ones; you have your soul mate. This is quite the gamble to take, so think it through before you jump the gun.

Love Fun Facts

I have some facts to share....If you have some please add...!!!

The Italian city of Verona, where Shakespeare's lovers Romeo and Juliet lived, receives about 1,000 letters addressed to Juliet every Valentine's Day.

The expression "wearing your heart on your sleeve" comes from a Valentine's Day party tradition. Young women would write their names on slips of paper to be drawn by young men. A man would then wear a woman's name on his sleeve to claim her as his valentine.

Minnie Munro became the world's oldest bride when she married Dudley Reid at the age of 102 on May 31, 1991. Reid, the groom, was 83 years old.

Harry Stevens became the world’s oldest groom at 103 when he married 84 year old Thelma Lucas at the Caravilla Retirement Home in Wisconsin on December 3, 1984.

The longest engagement was Sixty-seven years, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The happy couple finally wed at age 82!

Most recent research indicates just about 9,000 romantic couples each year take out marriage licenses, then fail to use them

The romantic Canadian porcupines kiss one another on the lips.

Experts insist that the average person falls in love seven times before marriage.

The heart is the most common symbol of romantic love. Ancient cultures believed the human soul lived in the heart. Others thought it to be the source of emotion and intelligence. Some believed the heart embodied a man's truth, strength and nobility. The heart may be associated with love because the ancient Greeks believed it was the target of Eros, known as Cupid to the Romans.

Anyone shot in the heart by one of Cupid's arrows would fall hopelessly in love. Because the heart is so closely linked to love, its red colour is thought to be the most romantic.

Love:10 crazy scientific facts

1. It’s like looking in a mirror! It turns out we all have a little something in common with Narcissus—the mythical fellow who fell in love with his own reflection. Scientists at the University of Liverpool recently concluded that our brains favor people with familiar faces. The research team asked over 200 participants to view a number of digitally altered human faces. They found that subjects preferred the features they found the most familiar—whether that means his or her own visage or that of a family member. This may explain that common phenomenon of couples looking like they could be siblings.

2. Manner, schmanners: Go ahead and stare. Another new study says that when a woman walks into a room, she is considered more attractive if she turns her eyes directly toward a certain man. Men would rate the same woman as less desirable if she doesn’t make strong eye contact. In this study, conducted at Dartmouth University, lead researcher Malia Mason had male participants sit and view a series of faces of fashion models, digitally enhanced to either be gazing toward or away from the participant. The study authors asked the viewer to rate the likeability of each model and found that those who turned away were seen as less agreeable. The study’s researchers went on to suggest that a woman’s gaze can be a powerful arousal cue and that our impressions are largely formed by nonverbal communications such as eye contact. So start locking eyes, ladies!

3. You’ll know it when you see it. A recent study at the University of Pennsylvania reveals that regardless of what people say they are looking for in a dating situation, they don’t need a lot of time with or information about a person to tell if they’re interested. Single people’s behavior suggests that individuals know “it” (a person who appeals to them) when they see it—almost instantly. Lead researcher Robert Kurzban and his colleagues studied data from 10,000+ daters. They found that men and women assessed potential compatibility within moments of meeting, using primarily visual cues such as age, height, and attractiveness. Says Kurzban, “Somewhat surprisingly, factors that you might think would be really important to people — like religion, education, and income — played very little roles in their choices.”

4. Listen up. The next time you call up a potential love match, pay special attention to how they sound. Researchers at the University of Albany had 149 men and women rate the attractiveness of a series of recorded voices on a scale from 1 to 10. The researchers also gathered information about the sexual histories of the people whose voices they recorded. They found that the voices found to be the most appealing belonged to people who had sex at an earlier age, had more sexual partners, and were more prone to infidelity than those rated as having less appealing voices. So know that what’s a seductive voice to you may be linked to a person with a bit of a past…

5. I couldn’t help it baby, it’s in my genes. There may be a genetic component to infidelity, says a professor at the Twin Research Unit at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. This is based on the fact that if one twin exhibits infidelity, the other twin strays 55% of the time. In the general population, the number is 23%. The tendency to remain faithful is a component of personality, the scientist elaborates, which is governed both by a number of genes and societal factors.

6. It’s official. Love makes us crazy. For one, it causes serotonin levels in the brain to drop, which may lead people to obsess about their lover. (The levels of serotonin, a chemical produced by the body, are also low in people who have obsessive-compulsive disorder.) Next, it ramps up production of the stress hormone cortisol, leading to slightly higher blood pressure and possible loss of sleep. Finally, a scientist at the University of London has found that when people look at their new loves, the neural circuits that are usually in charge of social judgment are suppressed. All in all, love kind of leaves you obsessive, stressed, and blind. And we love it.

7. Why broken hearts hurt... A recent UCLA study suggests the psychological hurt of a break-up is just as real as a physical injury. Two areas of the brain that respond to physical pain also become activated when a person is dealing with social pain, such as being dumped. The study’s authors used an MRI to monitor brain activity in participants while they played a game simulating social rejection. The researchers believe that the pain of being rejected may have evolved as a motivating force that led humans to seek out social interaction, which is crucial for the survival of most mammals.

8. Blushing is best. If we take our cue from apes, rosy cheeks are crucial in the dating game, says a new study. Scientists at Stirling University in Great Britain have found that primates prefer mates with red faces. A rosy glow might also act as a similar cue in humans, say the British researchers, sending a message of good health. They speculate that it could explain why women use blusher.

9. Kiss this way. Did you know there is a “right” way to kiss? People are more likely to tilt their heads to the right when kissing instead of left, says a report published recently in the journal Nature. A scientist from Ruhr University in Germany analyzed 124 pairs of smoochers and found that 65 percent go toward the right.

10. Meet for drinks before dinner. Researchers at NYU and Stanford have discovered that hungry men prefer heavier women. By staking out a dining hall, scientists had hundreds of students fill out questionnaires about their preferences in a mate. Men who filled out the questionnaire just before they entered the hall described their ideal woman as an average of three or four pounds heavier than men interviewed after they ate. Incidentally, researchers did not find the same change in women’s preferences, so guys: Go ahead and schedule that drinks date for before or after dinnertime.

A Coffee Jolt!

Sperm will swim faster and have a better chance of fertilizing an egg if you drink at least one cup of coffee a day, report researchers at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The caffeine gives the little guys an energy boost. But women should limit coffee to two daily. More could be risky if she does, in fact, conceive.

A Boost in Bed!

About 30% of men with erectile dysfunction (ED) don’t respond to Viagra. If you happen to be in this lot what can you do to fix the problem? Well, you have plenty of choices – from pills and gels to exercises and pump-it-up implants. But before you buy, talk to your family doc or urologist. ED could be a sign of a medical condition. Treat the real cause and you will get the best results. If you still need help, here’s a peek at some of the solutions:

Circulation-boosting pills
The drug Cialis and Levitra have positioned themselves as Viagra’s challengers.

Rub-on-gels
These boost testosterone when used with Viagra and may help men who don’t get a lift from the blue pill alone.

Pelvic Muscle exercises
Specially designed moves, such as Kegels improved erections for 80% of men in a German study.

Inflatable Implant
A penile prosthesis inflates cylinders in the penis with saline stored in a special reservoir implanted in the abdomen. Just operate a pump hidden within the scrotum and…instant erection!

Wakeful Nights...

Worried about wet dreams in adulthood? This is why it happens...

Although wet dreams are most common during puberty, for some they continue into adulthood. Dry spells (times of little or no masturbation or sex) can result in wet dreams, so you may need to choose between sleeping and waking orgasms. Wet dreams can also be triggered by friction or a full bladder.

If you don’t mind risking a midnight bathroom run, try drinking water before bed to see if your dreams become hyper-realistic.

Pleasure n Pain!

Sex leaving her with more ouches than aahs? There are two common causes…

Vagina Dryness:
There’s a limit to how much lubrication a woman can produce in its own, even after arousal. The solution: KY jelly.

Cervical pain:
Lubricant creams help make marathon sex a reality.

When lubrication is not the issue, the source of the pain could be due to deep-thrusting positions that hit the cervix. Try giving her more control (woman on top – forward or reverse cowgirl)

If lube and a position switch doesn’t help, she should visit her doctor…

The Right Touch!

Most women attain orgasm with clitoral stimulation and you can be assured that they’re “lovin’ it.” However, there’s such a thing as over-stimulation, which can end up backfiring on you. The clitoris is house to a whopping 8,000 nerve endings making it a gold mine when fresh and a landmine when manipulated too long. The key is to maintain her arousal between orgasms. Focus on other sensitive areas – he breasts, thighs, lips or neck – until she recharges, and apply lubrication to make her croon “Ummm” rather than cry “Stop It!”

Can You Figure These Out?

1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years.

Which room is safest for him?

2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for Over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go

3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?

4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out.

Pyromancer by Amanda Young

At thirty-two Christian Ryder is an orphan who comes from money. He
owns several small businesses and has more money than he could ever
need.
But it all means nothing without someone with whom to share it.
Problem
is, and despite his loneliness, Christian doesn’t want to risk
getting intimate with anyone for fear of what could happen if he lets
his
passions get the best of him. It’s happened before in the past and
has
resulted in death, or so Christian has convinced himself he’s
culpable.

Tanner O’Bannon is a young struggling college student left with a
mountain of bills and gambling debts when his father, a volunteer
firefighter, dies on a job. He resorts to joining a male escort agency
called
Male Companion, selling his body to make ends meet and keep the bank
from foreclosing on his family’s house. The job is not something
he’s
proud of, but something he feels he has to do. This is until he meets
his latest client in Christian and is instantly attracted.

Instead of Tanner pleasing his exotically hunky client, Christian turns
the tables and selflessly gives Tanner the most sexually gratifying
night of his young life. Tanner, however, convinces himself that a
relationship with Christian could never work. First, the circumstances
of
their initial meeting are not ideal, and second, Christian is just way
out
of his league. Despite this, or maybe because of it, Tanner begins to
re-asses his life and redefine his priorities.

Deciding that he can no longer endure letting strangers use his body
for money, Tanner calls the agency to quit his job. Resigned, his boss
Nigel convinces him to take on one more client before he quits and,
against his better judgment, Tanner agrees. Directed by Nigel he
drives to a
seedy part of town to meet his latest client only to discover there is
no client. Tanner’s suspicions grow and rightfully so, for when he
gets back into his car to drive home, he’s run off the road, set
upon
by two men and severely beaten. Managing to escape his attackers,
Tanner is found on the road by a passing motorist with no ID except
for the
business card that Christian had given him during an impromptu and
futile visit to Tanner’s house.

The events that follow Tanner’s rescue and Christian’s taking him
into his home to recuperate will forever change both men for better
and
worse, revealing personal demons and secrets, healing old wounds and
giving each man a chance for the redemption and love they both crave
and
need.

The chemistry between Christian and Tanner is as combustible as
Christian’s errant gifts, effectively scorching the screen with
their
emotional and physical connection. The narrative is fast-paced,
entertaining
and uniquely realized. Young tells a sensitive and action-packed
romance sprinkled with equal parts humor, sensuality and suspense that
had
this reader swiftly scrolling through the pages to get to the exciting
and rewarding end. All of these elements added together makes
Pyromancer
a paranormal romance I highly recommend!

Krishna Loves Radha

The soul of man is like a piece of crystal,
But it takes the color of whatever is near it.
Whatever the soul touches... It has to take its color.
That is the difficulty. That constitutes bondage.
The color is so strong, the crystal forgets itself
And identifies itself with the color.
Suppose a red flower is near the crystal:
The crystal takes the color and forgets itself, thinks it is red.
We have taken the color of the body and have forgotten what we are.
All the difficulties that follow come from that one dead body.
All our fears, all worries, anxieties, troubles, mistakes,
Weakness, evil, are from that one great blunder-- that we are bodies.
This is the ordinary person.
It is the person taking the color of the flower near to it.
We are no more bodies than the crystal is the red

Krishna had many women disciples, but one favorite, Radha.
Each disciple said to herself,
"Krishna loves me more than anyone else."
Still, because Krishna often talked of Radha,
The others were envious of her.
Noticing their jealousy, he wanted to teach them a lesson.
So one day Krishna feigned a terrible headache.
The anxious disciples expressed their
Great concern over the masters distress.
At last Krishna said, "The headache will go away if one
Of you will stand on my head and massage it with your feet!"

The Master was pretending an increase of his pain when Radha came on the scene.
She ran to her Lord, saying, "What can I do for you?"
Krishna made the same request of her that he had made of the other devotees.
Radha immediately stood on his head;
The Master's "pain" disappeared, and he fell asleep.
The other disciples angrily dragged Radha away from the sleeping form.

"We will kill you," they threatened.

"But why?"

"You dare to step on the head of the Master?"

"What of it?" Radha protested. "Did it not free him from his pain?"

"For such a sacrilegious act you will go to the lowest stratum of Hades."

"Oh, is that what you are worrying about?" Radha smiled.
"I would gladly live there forever if it would make him happy for a second."

Then they all bowed down to Radha. They understood why Krishna favored her;
For Radha alone had no thought for herself, but only for her Lord's comfort.

Nevertheless, because she received so much special attention,
Radha became filled with pride. So one day the Lord Krishna said to her,
"Let us steal away together." He played on her vanity, making her think he
Wanted to be alone with her. She was feeling very happy and favored.
They walked some distance, and Krishna wasn't at all inclined to stop for rest.
Finally the weary Radha suggested, "Here is a nice

The Love Of A Friends

Because of all the ways you've touched my life, because of all we've shared your friendship means so very much to me. When we first met, it was easy to see that we had many things in common. It was as if we had known each other forever and now it seems as if we've always been the good friends we are today. I treasure our special relationship we have. You make so many times even better simply by being you. You make me happy simply by being my friend.
And if I'm ever feeling a little down or upset about something, I know I can turn to you. If I'm facing a problem, I know you'll be there to face it with me. You'll help if you can because you care. I care a lot about you too and about our friendship. That's why I try to be sensitive to your needs and feelings as you are to mine that's why I try to be the kind of friend you've been to me.
I gain something meaningful each time we're together. It might be a brand new viewpoint on an old situation or the way you help me see the funny side of things I used to take so seriously or a different image of myself because you always see the best in me.
For all these reasons and more, I'm glad that our friendship keeps growing even more beautiful with time. I feel that we've both grown, too because we support each other, because we believe in each other because we're friends.
So many of the threads of your life are woven into mine. What we share is stronger deeper than most friendships. That's why even though we're not related you seem like family to me. We may not often talk about our feelings for each other. Still I want you to know how fond of you I am that whenever I think of you I think of you with love.

Here are 10 Reasons I love Saturday mornings:

  • You can sleep in if you want to. Or you can get up early like usual but do whatever you want.
  • Saturday mornings are the day for yard sales, garage sales, church rummage sales, and all those other fun bargain hunting things.
  • No business calls. Most companies and people you work with will respect the Saturday morning and leave you alone, at least until the afternoon.
  • You can make pancakes. Or even go out for breakfast. Let’s face it, who really wants to cook before they work or has time to eat more than a pop-tart? Truth is Saturdays might be the only day of the week I actually eat something that could be identified as breakfast.
  • People are available. I don’t see many people during the week. They have jobs like most contributing members of society do. Since they’re off Saturdays we can make plans or catch up on the phone.
  • Nobody notices if you’re tired or hung over. I don’t drink anymore at all, but Fridays used to be the night to go out and get hammered. If you had to work that Saturday it seemed like an unspoken understanding that was okay. And if you didn’t work, then it was almost expected and people left you alone.
  • People are shopping and loving it. You can tell it’s Saturday morning just by going to Home Depot or Wal-mart for 5 minutes. People act like they are on a mission. They seem excited by the things they find. You feel like buying things you don’t even need.
  • The newspaper has a special section in it just for Saturdays. I don’t know if this is all newspapers everywhere, but mine has an interesting little magazine that comes with it.
  • The mail comes earlier on Saturday mornings. Our mail usually comes at 3 p.m. On Saturdays it’s here before noon. It’s always nice to get it early since I usually get some fun freebies or checks.
  • There’s still tomorrow. Not working weekends means you get to enjoy tomorrow off too. When you know you have another day off coming, you enjoy the Saturday even more. You can go out of town for the weekend or put off housework (or catch up on it if you’re real ambitious!).

15 Unique Date Ideas You Forgot About

It’s easy for us to get stuck in the trap of going out for dinner or watching movies. Sure, those things are fun, but there are plenty of other things we could be doing together that are a great way to spend time together, whether you’re in a new relationship or have been married for years.

  • The Museum: What could be more fun than walking around and looking at dinosaurs or art? It’s a great way to spark conversation and enjoy yourselves in a relaxing environment.
  • An Amusement Park or Carnival: An amusement park can be a very romantic place. You will be able to talk to each other about anything while you wait in line, you can enjoy the thrill of riding a roller coaster together or you can just take it easy on the train or carousal rides.
  • A Bookstore or Library: The bookstore is a great place to talk about different books you find, read each other poetry excerpts, browse magazines together and sip on lattes.
  • Take a Hike: Hiking is great exercise and can also be a fun way to get to know someone better or rekindle the excitement of being together again. Bring a back pack with plenty of snacks and drinks and you’ll have a great time exploring your adventurous sides.
  • Mini Golf: I’ve never met anyone who didn’t have a good time going mini-golfing. You can choose a basic course with windmills and slopes or find one that has tropical trees and waterfalls for some added ambiance.
  • Visit the Zoo: Lions and tigers and bears..you and your date will have fun oohing and aahing over the animals and each other.

  • A pet store or animal shelter: If you’re an animal lover, you’ll love being able to look at all the different pets and play with them. Be careful though – you might end up falling in love with one of the pets and taking a new furry friend home with you!
  • The Flea Market: You’ll have fun reliving childhood memories or looking at unusual things you’ve never seen before at a flea market. You might even be able to find a few bargains while you’re at it.
  • Plan a daytrip downtown. Many of us might go downtown for work or other reasons, but so few of us will go there just to relax in a community park or to admire the architecture of the skyscrapers and old buildings. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
  • Go Bowling: Grab your bowling shoes and spend a fun time showing off your bowling skills. You can make it even more interesting by giving them a kiss for every pin they knock down or pretending you’re in a major competition.
  • Go swimming: You can either visit a nearby water park or pool or opt for a community indoor pool in the winter. Have fun doing laps together, splashing each other, or if you visit a waterpark relaxing on a lazy river or sunbathing together.
  • Go for a boat ride: You can opt for a canoe on a pond, a ferry ride, paddle boats, or even go white water rafting together if you’re adventurous.

10 Tricks So Your Wife Will Let You Go Fishing

1. Be nice to her all the time. Not just for a day or a week. But everyday and every week. Being nice means not yelling at her when she accidently messed up the project you spent the last two hours working on.

2. Help out around the house. Scrub the kitchen floor and bathtub and do whatever other chores she hates. Take out the trash without needing to be reminded. It helps if you put your clothes & towels away also.
3. Tell her you will watch the kids for an hour or two while she does whatever she wants to do.
4. Call her while you are at work just to say hi and I love you.
5. Offer to take her fishing just the two of you sometime or go out on a date.
6. Make dinner for her some night, even if it is just mac n cheese.
7. Kiss her when you leave and as soon as you come back and before you fall asleep.
8. Give her a backrub after a hard long day
9. Don’t complain about having to visit your in-laws and save your wife from having to deal with yours.
10. Let her sleep in some morning.

Gift Idea: Write Your Love Story

Everyone has a love story. From what you were doing before you were in love, to how you met, to the things you’ve accomplished since then, writing your love story can be a great keepsake for your family as you get older or it can be a fantastic gift idea for an anniversary or other special date.
You can also do this gift idea for your favorite couple - your parents, grandparents, or even a friend who’s celebrating an important anniversary.

To write the story, start by answering some of these questions:

  • When and where was each person born? Who was in their families? Was there anything interesting about their birth story or childhood?
  • What was each person doing before you met each other? Where did they work? What activities or hobbies did they enjoy? Where did they live?
  • How did they meet each other? Give as many details as possible on the time, place, and their first impressions of each other.
  • What did they do for their first date? Is there anything that stuck out to them about the other person or the place they went to? Did either of them feel nervous or awkward?
  • When and Where was their first kiss?
  • Was there a deifining moment when they knew they loved each other? What were some of the things they did together while dating?
  • How did they become engaged? When was their wedding? What was it like? What moment of that day does each person remember the most vividly? Did they go on a honeymoon?
  • What did they do after they were married?
  • Do they have children? How many and what are their names? What were there thoughts about becoming parents?
  • Where are some of the places they have traveled together?
  • What projects did they complete together or what things have they accomplished since being married?
  • What is the one thing today that they still love most about each other?

Once you have these questions answered, you have all the necessary details ready to write your love story. You can decide if you want to start it fairy tale style with “Once upon a time”, make it humorous, or even go with “Dick and Jane” style of “This is Dick. Dick was born…” The options are pretty much endless, so don’t be afraid to get creative.

Now you will need to decide how you will present the story. Here are some different ways you can present the love story:

Make a video/digital picture slideshow. You can make a slideshow using a program like PowerPoint or you can use any of the hundreds of video editing software available. Many computers now have video editing software pre-installed

Make a photo book. I LOVE photo books. You can write your story and use old family photos and make gorgeous hard bound books using a site like Photo Works.

Write it in a notebook. Many store sell blank journals and notebooks that can work wonderfully. You can opt to handwrite the story or you can type it in your favorite word processing software and print and paste it to the journal pages.

Go audio-book style. You can use a free program such as Audacity to record you telling the story and then save as an MP3 or burn it onto a CD. If you’re old fashioned, you can always make it with cassette tapes.
